Upon the October 19th, 2019 revolution, the Faculty of Law held a large number of lectures on various legal topics related to current issues such as the resignation of the government, the amendment of the Constitution, the dissolution of parliament, the independence of the judiciary and the fight against corruption. Following these lectures, infographics related to prosecution of officials, the resignation of the government, the role of the President of the Republic, the amendment of the constitution, the dissolution of parliament, the right to protest and the rights of the employee in case of arbitrary dismissal were prepared.
Furthermore, with the support of UNESCO, UNFPA and UNODC the legal clinic is currently preparing infographics related to the rights of the Beirut blast victims, that will be accessible via a website, a hotline and a mobile application, allowing to respond to legal aid applications.
